Kadjar Engine Stalling Issue

I've got a 2016 Renault Kadjar diesel with 110145 km on the clock. Recently, the check engine light popped on, and the engine sometimes stalls when idling. I suspect it might be related to the tank ventilation valve. I've checked the gas cap, and it seems fine. Could a faulty pressure sensor also cause this?

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Kadjar. The symptoms sound like the emission system. Have you checked the hoses connected to the purge valve? They might be clogged.

Thanks for the tip! Which hoses exactly should I be looking at? And is there a way to check if the purge valve itself is working correctly?

It's difficult to explain exactly where they are, but they are usually small diameter hoses going from the fuel tank area to the engine bay. If they're not obviously cracked or disconnected, I'd say it's time to get it to a workshop before you start spending money on parts. It could be the valve, a sensor, or something else entirely. It cost me around 175€ for the automotive repair.

Alright, I appreciate the advice. I'll take it to a shop and have them check the ventilation system and the purge valve. Thanks again!
