Thanks! I'm not sure how to check the actuator. Is it easy to access, or do I need special tools? Also, where's the fuel door actuator located?

On my Insignia, it was tricky to get to, requiring panel removal in the trunk area, near the fuel filler neck. Since you're saying other functions are affected, and given the potential complexity, taking it to a workshop might be best. They can properly diagnose the electrical fault and replace the actuator if needed.

Appreciate the advice. Sounds like I could make things worse if I try myself. I'll book an appointment with a trusted workshop to get it diagnosed and repaired. Thanks so much!

Sounds like a pain! I had a similar issue with my 2018 Opel Insignia. The fuel filler door wouldn't open, and it turned out to be a faulty electric actuator. An actuator is a component responsible for moving or controlling a mechanism. Have you checked if you can hear the actuator trying to work when you press the fuel door or use the key fob?
