Thanks for the info! I didn't check the voltage at the connector itself, just the fuse. How difficult was it to access the pump connector on your Astra? Was it easy to visually identify the corrosion, or did you need a multimeter to diagnose it properly?

Accessing the pump connector on the Astra was a bit of a pain, involving removing the front bumper for better access. The corrosion was visible once I got to it – a green, powdery substance on the connector pins. While I initially used a multimeter to confirm the lack of voltage, the visual corrosion was a strong indicator. Given your symptoms and troubleshooting steps, I would recommend having a workshop take a look to properly diagnose the electrical connections. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice! I took your advice and brought it to a shop. As suspected, there was a faulty cable connection, causing the system to fail. The final bill came to 165€, including parts and labor. At least it's sorted now!

Hello! I had a similar issue with my 2016 Opel Astra. The windshield washer and headlight washer stopped working simultaneously. In my case, it turned out to be a faulty electrical connection to the washer pump. The connector had corroded, preventing the pump from getting power. Did you happen to check the voltage at the pump connector when activating the washer?
