Kadjar Height Control Restricted Warning
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Renault Kadjar diesel is experiencing a 'Height control restricted' warning, with symptoms including misaligned low beams, a rough ride, and an uneven vehicle stance. The issue may be related to the vehicle's leveling system, specifically a potential problem with the control rod on the leveling sensor. It is suggested to inspect the control rod first, as it might be broken, and consider professional assistance if the problem involves the sensor or wiring.

Yeah, I think it does. I've been reading about leveling sensors and control rods. Was it something like that on your Volvo?

Spot on! It was the control rod on the leveling sensor. Snapped clean off, apparently a common issue. Check that first but honestly, I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop. Could be the sensor itself or even a wiring issue. Better safe than sorry!

Okay, thanks for the tip! I will check the control rod first and if that's it, I will get it replaced. I found them online for around 110€. If it's more complicated, I'll take it to a workshop. Appreciate the help!

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same symptoms with my old Volvo V70. The height control went bonkers and gave me a terrible ride. Does your Kadjar have some kind of leveling system or load sensor on the suspension?
