Kadjar Oil Temperature Sensor Issue

I had similar symptoms on my Kadjar, though I don't know if it was exactly the temperature sensor. The erratic oil pressure light, especially, sounds familiar. Did the diagnostics specifically point to the sensor, or did it just show a generic error code? Have you checked the oil level to rule that out?

Diagnostics specifically mentioned the engine oil temperature sensor. The error code was related to implausible signal from the sensor. The oil level is normal, I check it regularly. Could the sensor be faulty even with a normal oil level?

An implausible signal points pretty strongly to the sensor itself or its wiring. It's hard to say definitively without hands-on testing, but I would advise against driving it too much like that. I ended up taking mine to a workshop, and after replacement, no more issues.
