Kadjar Overheating Slow Warm Up
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Renault Kadjar with 151,000 km is experiencing engine overheating and slow warm-up, despite normal coolant levels and a functioning cooling fan. The issue may be due to a faulty thermostat, potentially stuck or defective. It is recommended to have the thermostat checked at a workshop to confirm and resolve the problem.

Thanks! I haven't checked the thermostat itself, just the coolant and fan. Was it definitely the thermostat for you, and how much did it cost to fix?

Yep, turned out to be the thermostat. The map thermostat was defective. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop to confirm. The whole repair was around 350€.

Thanks a lot! I'll take it to a workshop to get the thermostat checked out. Hopefully, that's the issue. I will let you know what happens!

I had a similar issue with my Kadjar. Overheating and slow warm-up sounds familiar. Did you check the thermostat housing? Is it possible that the thermostat is stuck?
