Kangoo AdBlue Defect
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Renault Kangoo diesel with 109064 km is experiencing an AdBlue defect, indicated by an error message and a no-start condition. The problem may be due to a defective AdBlue output from the tank to the dosing unit. A similar issue in another vehicle was caused by crystallization blocking the DEF injector, suggesting a blockage in the injection system. A thorough inspection by a qualified technician is recommended, and the defect was confirmed and repaired for 250€.

Thanks for the information. How did you determine that the DEF injector was the problem? What steps did you take to diagnose it?

In my case, the diagnostic process involved a thorough inspection of the entire diesel exhaust fluid injection system. Error codes pointed towards insufficient DEF injection. The workshop confirmed the blockage after removing and inspecting the injector. Considering your symptoms are analogous, a similar problem with the injection system seems plausible. I would advise a thorough inspection by a qualified technician.

Thanks. I will take your advice and bring it to the workshop. The repair ended up being exactly as you suspected, the AdBlue output from the tank to the dosing unit was defective. Cost me 250€ to fix.

I had a similar issue with my 2019 Peugeot Partner. The symptoms were identical: AdBlue warning, error codes, and eventual no-start condition. Have you checked the DEF injector? Sometimes crystallization can occur, blocking the injection of DEF fluid into the exhaust stream. This blockage can trigger the errors you're seeing and prevent the engine from starting.
