Kangoo Electric Seat Fault
Summary of the thread
The owner of a 2019 Renault Kangoo is facing an issue with the passenger electric seat, which is not adjustable and has a fault stored in the error memory. The initial suspicion is that a heavily discharged or defective battery might be the cause. After considering other potential causes like wiring and switch issues, it was confirmed that the battery was indeed the problem, and replacing it resolved the issue.

The wiring and switch were indeed inspected. Is there anything else, perhaps something specific to the car's electrical system, that might be worth considering?

In my case, even after checking the wiring and switch, the problem persisted. Ultimately, it required professional diagnosis and repair. Perhaps it's time to consider visiting a workshop?

Thank you for the advice. The battery was indeed the issue, as initially suspected. Replacement cost 290€.

I had a similar issue with my 2017 Opel Astra. The electric seat stopped working, and there was an error code. Did you check the seat wiring and the seat switch? It might be worth inspecting before assuming the worst.
