Kangoo engine stalls at idle
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Renault Kangoo was experiencing engine stalling at idle, particularly when the fuel tank was full, along with the check engine light being on. The issue was suspected to be related to the fuel tank ventilation system, specifically a defective activated charcoal filter causing a leak. After taking the vehicle to a workshop, the charcoal filter was confirmed as the problem and replaced, resolving the stalling issue.

Thanks! Where is the charcoal filter located, and is there a way to test it myself?

It's usually near the fuel tank. Honestly, without proper tools, leak detection can be tricky. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop.

You were right, it was the charcoal filter! Took it to the shop, they confirmed it. Cost me 275€ to replace, but now the engine runs smoothly. Thanks a lot for your help!

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my Kangoo. Check the activated charcoal filter. It might be defective, causing a leak in the system.
