Kix check engine light and jerking
Summary of the thread
The 2008 Nissan Kix experienced issues such as the check engine light, jerking during acceleration, whistling noises, stalling, increased fuel consumption, and reduced power. These symptoms suggested a possible faulty boost pressure sensor. Upon inspection, it was found that a defective cable at the boost pressure sensor was the cause. Repairing the cable resolved the issues.

Thanks! Yes, I checked it, I think. Could you explain what to look for when inspecting the cable and plug connection? Any specific signs of damage?

In my case, the cable or plug connection was defective. I recommend getting it properly checked at a workshop.

I took it to a workshop. It was a defective cable at the boost pressure sensor, like you said. Repair cost was 95€. Thanks for the help! Saved me a lot of trouble!

I had similar issues with my Kix. Sounds like a faulty boost pressure sensor. Did you check the cable and plug connection?
