Koleos Crankshaft Camshaft Error

Indeed, the crankshaft sensor is my primary suspect. Before I commit to replacing it, could you perhaps elaborate on your experience? Were the symptoms identical, and did replacing a specific sensor resolve the issue entirely?

Yeah, the symptoms sound really similar. I was getting the engine light and the car felt like it was dragging. I wouldn't want to tell you to just start replacing parts, but it sounds like you should probably take it to a workshop to have them check the sensors and timing chain. That's what I ended up doing.

I appreciate you sharing your insight and experience. I shall heed your advice and consult with a trusted mechanic. It appears a visit to the workshop is indeed warranted. Replacing the crankshaft sensor along with recalibration work cost me 340€.

Hey, I also have a Koleos, though I'm not sure about the year, and that sounds familiar. I had something similar happen last year. It turned out to be an issue with engine synchronization. I'm not super techy, but was the camshaft or crank sensor something you already checked?
