Koleos Terminal Ignition Interrupted

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2008 Renault Koleos, gasoline engine. It has about 55927 km. The engine won't start. Diagnostics say 'Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted'. Could be a defective cable or plug. Could this be the starter solenoid, a circuit break, or the ignition switch?

Whoa, 'Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted' sounds like German engineering snuck into your Renault! Seriously though, a dodgy connection is super common. Before you start ripping apart wires, have you checked the basics? Is your battery actually putting out enough juice? A weak battery can cause all sorts of weird electrical gremlins. And double-check all the fuses related to the ignition system. A blown fuse is way easier (and cheaper) to fix than a frayed wire. Good luck!

Thank you for your response. I appreciate the suggestion to check the battery and fuses; I will certainly examine those components. Could you perhaps elaborate on which specific fuses I should be inspecting, or how I might ascertain whether the battery is providing sufficient power? I want to eliminate all simple solutions before proceeding with more complex troubleshooting.

I can only give you a general direction, I am not a Renault expert. But based on your error I would not bother checking the battery, I would really go to the workshop and let them check the cables to the starter solenoid and ignition switch. It is most likely a defective cable or a broken plug. It will probably cost you around 95€.

I wanted to extend my gratitude for your guidance. Following your advice, I decided to bring the vehicle to a workshop. The mechanics identified a defective plug connection, which they repaired, and the engine now starts without issue. The final cost was indeed approximately 95€, as you predicted. Thank you again for your assistance; it was most helpful.
