Kona Electric errors and shutdowns
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Hyundai Kona Electric with nearly 190,000 km is experiencing random errors, particularly with the driving mode and sound system, and occasionally shuts down briefly. The BUS system cable? Where is that even located? I am not really car savvy. Is it something I can easily check myself, or should I just take it to a mechanic?

Yeah, the cable to the control unit. Honestly, unless you know what you're doing, I'd take it to a workshop. It's probably the cable, but messing with that stuff without experience can make things worse, trust me! Mine cost around 150€ at the end.

Thanks a lot! That's super helpful. I'll get it checked out. Really appreciate the insight!

Whoa, that sounds rough. I have a Kona too, and I had something similar happen. Did you check the error memory? For me, it was a loose cable connection to the BUS system causing all sorts of weirdness.
