Kubistar AC failure
Summary of the thread
A 2005 Nissan Kubistar's air conditioning system stopped working, with no activation or cooling, and an error code was detected. The issue might be related to the A/C compressor not engaging, possibly due to a faulty pressure sensor or an undervoltage problem. It was suggested to check the pressure sensor, but due to the complexity and risk, taking the vehicle to a workshop was recommended. The problem was confirmed to be undervoltage, and it was resolved professionally.

I'm not hearing any clicking sounds when I turn the A/C on. Where exactly is the pressure sensor located? And is there an easy way to test it? I'm not super mechanically inclined, but I'm willing to give it a shot before taking it to a shop.

No clicking is not a good sign. The pressure sensor is usually somewhere on the A/C lines, often near the condenser. Honestly, messing with the A/C system can be risky, especially if you don't know what you're doing. Given your symptoms, it really does sound like an undervoltage issue affecting the compressor. I ended up taking mine to a workshop. They sorted it out quickly.

I think you're right; I'll take it to a workshop. It was undervoltage, just like you suggested. Cost me 240€ to get it fixed. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my Kubistar. Does it feel like the A/C compressor is just not kicking in? I was pulling my hair out trying to figure it out. Have you checked the pressure sensor or pressure switch on the A/C system? That might be the culprit. Any chance you hear a click when you turn the A/C on?
