Kubistar blower motor failure

Thanks for the tip! I hadn't thought of that. Whereabouts is the resistor pack located? And did replacing yours solve the whole issue or were there knock-on effects?

Yeah, it's usually behind the glove box somewhere, near the blower motor itself. From memory, replacing it did the trick for me; heater fan worked fine after that. But if the motor's been straining because of the faulty resistor pack, it might have shortened its life. If the resistor doesn't fix it, I'd say workshop time. They should be able to properly test the motor itself.

I took your advice and got the system checked out. Turned out the blower motor was defective, just like I originally suspected. Cost me 365€ to replace. Thanks for the help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar air circulation problem on my Kubistar a while back. Same symptoms – cabin fan wouldn't spin, and I was getting an error. Have you tested the blower motor resistor pack? They are known to cause issues and are cheaper than replacing the whole motor.
