Thanks for the reply. I haven't had a chance to pull the specific error code yet, just know there's one stored. When you say check the connectivity, where specifically should I be looking? And could a faulty sensor cause all the controls to die simultaneously?

Based on the information provided, a defective cable connection within the steering wheel is the most probable cause. Although diagnosis via remote means is problematic, complete failure of multiple control functions implies a central point of failure. You should schedule an inspection at a qualified workshop.

Appreciate the confirmation. Took your advice and had it looked at. Turns out it was indeed a broken cable connection as you suspected. 95€ later, and we're back in business. Thanks again!

The symptoms you describe certainly point to a malfunction within the steering wheel control system. It is imperative to ascertain the precise error code stored in the vehicle's memory. Have you checked the connectivity of the steering controls? It's unclear if the malfunction indicator is triggered. Is this a sensor issue, or is the control module failing?
