Kuga Climate Control Failure

My 2023 Ford Kuga with a gasoline engine is acting up. The climate control panel is dead. I'm getting an error code, the heating is blowing lukewarm air, and the AC won't kick in. The garage suspects a dodgy cable or plug connection. Has anyone dealt with this before?

Summary of the thread

A 2023 Ford Kuga experienced a climate control failure, with the panel being non-responsive, an error code displayed, and issues with heating and AC. The suspected cause was a faulty cable or plug connection. A similar case was resolved by addressing a faulty connector, which was confirmed as the issue and fixed at a workshop.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

I had a similar issue with my Kuga. Sounds bang on. Did you check the blower motor resistor or any fuses?

Fuses are all good, already checked. Where exactly is the blower motor resistor located? Is it easy to get to?

It's worth checking but I didn't go down that route. I gave up and took it to a workshop because I was pretty sure I would break something else. They said the same, a faulty connector, and charged me 95€ and fixed it!

95€, that's not bad. Right, I'm calling it. Trip to the workshop it is! Thanks a million for the heads-up; at least I know I'm not chasing a ghost. Turns out it was indeed a faulty connector! All sorted now.
