Kuga Hybrid Air Suspension Failure

My 2022 Ford Kuga Hybrid is acting up. The air suspension seems shot. The car won't lift, it's leaning, and I'm getting error messages. My tool says compressor failure. I checked the obvious, and I think defective cable or plug. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Sounds rough! I had something similar on my Ford Kuga, though it wasn't a hybrid. Check the air struts themselves. I had a leak in one once, and it caused the compressor to work overtime and eventually burn out. The error codes were all over, ride height warnings, everything. Is the compressor making any noise, or is it just completely silent?

Thanks for the tip! The compressor is silent, completely dead. So, you think even if the compressor is gone, it could be related to the struts? How did you figure out it was a leak, and how much did that end up costing you?

A leak will kill the compressor pretty quick. If the compressor is completely silent, start by checking the wiring and the fuse. If those are ok, then it's likely the compressor itself. Given the error messages, and that the car is leaning, I would suggest going to a workshop to have it checked by a professional. In my case, the error memory was also full.

Thanks a bunch for the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on! It was indeed a defective cable connection to the compressor. They fixed it for 95€, and all is well. I really appreciate the help!
