Kuga Power Window Failure

Hey, got a weird electrical problem with my 2016 Ford Kuga (gasoline engine). Power windows are totally dead. Scan shows an error, but nothing's moving. Think it's just the master switch, or am I looking at a regulator motor issue?

Could be the switch. Before you mess with the regulator or motor, check the fuses. A blown fuse would kill them completely. Does the error code say anything specific, like a circuit problem with the switch?

Fuses are good, checked them first. The error code is vague, just says 'power window circuit malfunction'. Is there a way to test the switch without taking everything apart, or should I just replace it to see if that fixes it?

With that error code and the fuses being okay, the switch is likely the problem. You could try testing the switch wiring with a multimeter, but replacing the switch is usually faster and more reliable. If that doesn't work, you might need a shop to check the wiring and regulator motor.

Thanks for the help. It was the window switch. Cost 200€ to replace and it's working again. Simple fix, in the end. Hopefully this helps someone else avoid messing with a perfectly good regulator motor.
