Lafesta keyless access failure
Summary of the thread
The keyless access system on a 2012 Nissan Lafesta stopped working, and an error was logged in the error memory. The initial suspicion was a defective cable or plug connection in the door electronics. After consulting with others, it was suggested that the issue might be more serious than a simple fuse problem, possibly involving the car's ECU or wiring. Upon taking the car to a workshop, the problem was confirmed to be a defective plug connection within the door mechanism harness, which was then repaired.

Thanks! It seems to be affecting all doors. Would a fuse issue really cause an error to be stored in the error memory, or could it be something else?

Affecting all doors and an error code? That sounds less like a simple fuse and more like a core problem. It's like your car's brain (the ECU) is seeing something more serious. While it could be a wiring fault like you suspect, checking at a workshop is probably best. They'll have the right tools to diagnose it properly.

Okay, I appreciate the help. I took it to the workshop, and you were right - it was a defective plug connection within the door mechanism harness. Repair cost me 95€. Thanks again!

Sounds like a frustrating gremlin! Is it affecting only one door, or all of them? It might be something simple, like a fuse, before you dive into the wiring.
