Lafesta mirror heating failure

Have you checked the fuse for the mirror heaters? That's usually the first place to look. Does the Lafesta have independently controlled mirror heaters, or are they linked to the rear window defogger? If linked, is the rear window defogger working?

The fuse is fine, and the mirror heaters are linked to the rear window defogger, which works perfectly. Could the fault still be in the mirror assembly itself?

With the fuse and rear defogger ruled out, and the error code pointing to the mirror, a break in the wiring within the mirror housing or a corroded connector is likely. Fixing those tiny wires can be a real headache. Given the age and potential fragility, and a 95€ repair estimate, I'd get a professional assessment.
