Laguna glow plug issue
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Renault Laguna diesel is experiencing a persistent preheating lamp issue, indicating a potential glow plug fault. The problem is associated with rough idling and decreased fuel efficiency. The suggested solution is to have the glow plugs checked and possibly replaced at a workshop, as faulty glow plugs are common in diesel vehicles and can lead to these symptoms.

Rough idle occasionally, yes. And fuel efficiency seems a bit off. So you're thinking glow plugs too? What was the repair like?

Could be. Glow plugs are like the spark plugs of diesel cars, if they're gone, they're gone. Better get it checked at a workshop. I ended up paying 440€ for mine.

Thanks for the info. Appreciate the tip. I'll get it checked out at the workshop. Seems like the glow plugs are indeed the culprit.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Laguna. If the engine light is on, could be a faulty glow plug. Rough idle perhaps?
