Could you elaborate on the specific location of the connector and any recommended procedures for inspecting it? Are there any specific tools required?

The connector is usually near the sensor itself, along the exhaust system. Given the exhaust leak, it might be best to consult a workshop. They can properly diagnose if it's just the connection or if the NOx sensor needs replacing.

I consulted with a workshop. It was a faulty NOx sensor connection. Repair cost was about 95€ Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

I have a Laguna and had a similar problem. The check engine light and the error code related to the emission sensor point to a NOx sensor issue. Did you check the sensor's connection? Sometimes a loose or corroded connector can trigger the error.
