Laguna power loss after remap

I'm having a problem with my 2001 Renault Laguna diesel. It's got about 69501 km on it. I've noticed a drop in power, and there's an error code. I think it might be a bad chip tune. Anyone else had this?

I had something similar with my Laguna. Reduced power and the check engine light kept coming on. Did you get the error after any specific event, like a long drive or heavy acceleration?

The error seems random. It doesn't seem to matter how I'm driving. What was your issue and how did you fix it?

Mine turned out to be exactly what you suspect: a dodgy remap. The tuner had been a bit too aggressive. I took it to a good workshop, and they sorted it. Best to get it checked professionally, just to be safe.
