LandCruiser transmission issue

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2023 Toyota LandCruiser (gasoline engine). I've got 115829 km on it. The transmission indicator and check engine light came on. Now the automatic transmission is in emergency mode. It doesn't shift right, slips sometimes, and makes a nasty grinding noise when it does shift. I pulled the codes, and it seems to be related to the radiator oil pressure. I'm thinking maybe it's just a bad connection somewhere. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if I should check the oil cooler lines or something similar. Thinking it could be overheating related or maybe even a small leak, but I'm not finding anything obvious looking at the cooling system and radiator coolant.

I had a similar issue with my LandCruiser. The symptoms sound very familiar. Did you check the cable and plug connections to the radiator?

Yes, the cable and plug connections that attach to the radiator. In my case, it was a defective connector. I suggest you take your car to the workshop.

Thanks a lot! I checked the connections as you suggested, and while I didn't see anything obvious, I cleaned and reseated all the connectors related to the radiator and oil cooler. No change. Dropped it off at the shop, and you were right - turns out a connector was indeed faulty. Repair bill was only 95€, so I'm happy it wasn't worse!
