Latitude AC Failure

I haven't noticed any unusual noises, and the AC maintenance was done about a year ago. The pressure switch sounds plausible. Could there be any other possibilities? Or could the blower motor be a factor?

The blower motor usually presents with different symptoms. If the switch is faulty, it could be caused by defective valves in the air conditioning system. I suspect, as in my case, that the best course of action might be to take it to a trusted workshop. I had to pay 1000€ for the repair.

Understood. It sounds like a trip to the shop is inevitable. Thanks for the help; I appreciate you confirming my suspicions, and will be sure to take the AC diagnostics you mentioned to the mechanics. It's a pain, but knowing what to expect is half the battle!

I have a Latitude as well and had similar problems. It sounds like it could be a defective pressure switch. Do you hear any unusual AC noise, like a hissing or clicking, when you try to turn on the AC? Have you had your AC maintenance done recently?
