Latitude fuel pressure issue

My 2012 Renault Latitude diesel throws a check engine light, stalls sometimes at idle, and has reduced power. Seems to have started after I changed the fuel filter. I suspect the fuel pressure regulator. Anyone seen this?

Sounds familiar! I had similar symptoms on my old Opel Astra after a fuel filter change. Check engine light, loss of power... Could be a pressure sensor issue on the fuel rail. Did you check for any error codes?

Yeah, I got a code pointing to the fuel pressure regulator. You think it's worth just replacing the sensor, or is the whole fuel rail suspect?

In my case, replacing the sensor didn't fix it. Ended up being something else in the fuel system. If the code specifically points to the regulator, maybe try that first, but honestly, I'd get it checked by someone who knows what they're doing. Saved me a lot of headaches in the long run.

Alright, thanks for the insight. Took it to a shop. Turns out the fuel pressure regulator was defective after all, probably from the filter change messing something up. 45€ fix. Appreciate the advice!
