Latitude glow plug issue
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Renault Latitude with a diesel engine is experiencing a persistent glow plug issue, indicated by a preheating lamp that won't switch off and an error message. The likely cause is defective glow plugs. The suggested solution is to replace all four glow plugs, preferably at a workshop, as it can be a complex task.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Engine seems fine, no misfires and no rough idling. Fuel consumption normal, too. How did you solve it exactly? Did you replace the glow plugs yourself?

Didn't do it myself, actually. The problem was definitely the glow plugs, all four needed replacing. It's a fiddly job. I bit the bullet and took it to a workshop. Cost me 440€.

Thanks for the confirmation. Will take it to the garage for glow plug replacement; seems like the best course of action. Wish me luck!

Sounds familiar. I had something similar with my Latitude. Was there any engine misfire or rough idle alongside the glow plug light? Did you observe a hit in fuel efficiency?
