Latitude Intake Air Temperature Sensor Issue

Hi, I'm having trouble with my 2011 Renault Latitude diesel. The check engine light is on, and the car feels like it's lost power. A scan showed an error related to the intake air temperature sensor, and the engine is running a bit rough. Could a faulty intake air temperature sensor really cause all these problems?

I had similar issues with my Latitude: reduced power, rough running. Is the error message specifically mentioning the intake air temperature?

Yes, the error code definitely pointed to the intake air temperature sensor. Do you think it's really the sensor itself, or could it be something else causing a bad reading?

In my case, it was indeed the intake air temperature sensor. Given your symptoms and the error code, it's highly likely that's your culprit too. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed and replaced. It shouldn't be a terribly expensive fix. I paid around 155€ all in.

Thanks for the advice! I'll take it to a workshop as you suggested. It's good to know that it's likely just the sensor and not something more serious. They confirmed it was the intake air temperature sensor and replaced it. All good now!
