Latitude torque converter fault

Renault Latitude (2012, diesel) owners, I need your wisdom. My automatic transmission is acting up at 207930 km. Check engine light, transmission indicator, slipping gears, grinding. Error memory points to a defective torque converter lock-up clutch. Anyone else experienced this converter fault?

Sounds rough! I had similar symptoms in my Latitude. Engine surge, unclean shifts. Was it diagnosed as the torque converter for sure?

Pretty sure. Error codes are all pointing that way. Shop says likely cause is the automatic transmission converter itself. Did yours throw similar codes before the diagnosis?

Yep, identical codes. Automatic gearbox was slipping like crazy. Eventually, I bit the bullet and had the torque converter replaced. Get a solid quote from a reputable workshop before committing to anything.

Thanks for confirming! The repair cost is estimated at 2120€. Looks like I'm in for a new torque converter. Appreciate the insight!
