Leaf Central Locking Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Nissan Leaf experienced a complete failure of the central locking system, preventing door locking and unlocking, and displaying an error. Initial checks of the fuse box showed no obvious issues, leading to speculation about potential causes such as the key fob, keyless entry system, or car alarm. A suggestion was made to inspect cable or plug connections, as defective connections are common culprits. Ultimately, professional assistance revealed a faulty connection, resolving the issue.

Thanks for the tip! Which cable/plug were you referring to, specifically? I'm not super mechanically inclined, so any extra detail would be much appreciated before I start blindly poking around...

Unfortunately, I do not remember the specifics. I took my Leaf to a workshop to get it sorted. Given the diagnostic code you mentioned, it might be best to do the same.

Ugh, I was hoping to avoid the workshop, but it seems like you're right. Thanks so much for the advice! I got it checked by a pro, as you suggested. Turns out it was a dodgy connection, exactly as diagnosed! Cost 95€ to get sorted. Nightmare averted. Cheers again!

I had a similar central locking issue with my Leaf. Did you check the cable or plug connection of the component? A defective connection is often the culprit in these cases.
