Thanks for the heads up! Where exactly was this connector? I had a quick look, but it's a bit of a maze of wires back there. Was the tailgate hall sensor difficult to get to?

Yeah, it's a pain to get to, I remember that! Honestly, after fiddling with it for an afternoon, I threw in the towel and took it to a shop. They found a broken wire right at the sensor plug. Cost me 95€ to fix, and it was worth every penny to me.

Whoa, sounds familiar! I've got a Legend too, and had a similar issue with my power tailgate. Drove me nuts for a while. Did you check all the wiring and connectors around the sensor itself? That was the culprit on mine back then. A corroded connector made it not open tailgate completely.
