Lexus GS Heater Fan Failure

Alright Lexus gurus, my 2015 Lexus GS hybrid's heater fan has completely given up. 58000 km on the clock. No air flow whatsoever, hot or cold. I scanned it and yup, error code city. I'm guessing it's the blower motor, but before I tear into the dash, anyone else seen this happen? It's driving me nuts!

Hey, I had almost the exact same thing happen in my old Volvo V70 a few years back. Blower just died suddenly. Did you check the cabin fan fuse yet? That's the easiest thing to check first. Also, any weird noises coming from the blower area before it quit working entirely?

Fuse is good, sadly. And no, no weird noises. It was working perfectly one day and just… kaput the next. Did yours show any error codes?

Yeah, mine threw a code too. I messed around with it for a bit, checking wiring and stuff, but honestly, I'm not great with electrical wiring. Eventually, I just bit the bullet and took it to a workshop. Turned out the blower motor was shot. The electrical wiring seemed ok but I'm not 100% certain. Saved myself a lot of headache, to be honest.

Okay, sounds like I'm facing the same fate. New blower motor it is, then. My local workshop quoted me 365€ for the repair, blower motor defective they said. Thanks for sharing your experience, really appreciate it!
