Lexus GX 2017: Dealing with Engine, ABS/DSC system, Lighting and Battery Issues

Hey there the generator issue was indeed something that hit my pocket a bit hard, but it was surely worth it. The entire fix, including the new generator and the labor to put it in, set me back around 960 Euro. Not a small bill by any means, but hey, it's always better to pay once for a long-lasting solution than end up with a problem that keeps bugging you, isn’t it? And to answer your other concern, I'm pleased to say that since the generator was replaced, my RX has been purring like a kitten. No other issues whatsoever! So, I'd suggest you bite the bullet if it turns out to be a generator fault with your GX. Despite the cost, it's a winner in the long run. Keep rollin'!

Hey, just an update here. After reading your experiences, I got the guts to head to my mechanic again. I told him about what you guys pointed out and asked him to check the generator. After a good long inspection round, the blame did indeed fall on the poor generator. It's gonna cost me a chip off my savings (around 950 Euro), but I'm going with your advice, hoping it'll be a good long-lasting solution to this mess.
