Lexus GX microphone failure

I'm having trouble with the hands-free microphone in my 2023 Lexus GX hybrid. It seems to have stopped working completely. I can't make calls, and there's an error stored. Could this be related to a defective infotainment system?

That's frustrating! I had a similar issue with my 2018 BMW 5 series, though it wasn't a hybrid. Bluetooth was connecting, but the audio input was dead. Have you tried adjusting the volume during a call or testing speech recognition? Ambient noise wasn't the problem for me, but it's worth checking.

Exactly! No audio input at all when using the car's microphone system. Speech recognition failed, and my friend on the other end couldn't hear me. I didn't check for a stored error back then. After hours of frustration, I took it to the workshop.
