Lexus IS AC failure undervoltage

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2022 Lexus IS with a gasoline engine. The A/C system suddenly stopped working. It doesn't switch on at all, and it's no longer cooling. I plugged in an OBD scanner, and there's an error stored. Could this be related to undervoltage, maybe a bad belt tensioner affecting the A/C compressor? Has anyone experienced something similar?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my old Opel a while back. A/C just quit. Did you check the basics, like the fuses related to the HVAC system?

Good point! I did check the fuses, and they seem fine. I'm wondering if it could still be related to the compressor itself, or perhaps something electrical causing the undervoltage. Did your Opel throw any specific error codes?

No specific codes that I recall. Turned out to be some weird electrical thing draining the battery, causing undervoltage. Best to get it checked at a workshop.

Thanks! You were spot on about the undervoltage. Took it to the shop, and it turned out to be exactly that. Repair cost was 240€. Appreciate the help!
