Lexus IS GPS Antenna Issue

Has anyone experienced GPS issues with their 2014 Lexus IS hybrid? My navigation system is displaying an error and can't acquire a GPS signal. Diagnostic scans point to the GPS antenna. I've got 85837 km on the odometer and suspect the antenna is defective.

Sounds familiar. My GS had a similar issue. Double-check the antenna connection first. Sometimes those things can wiggle loose. Is the error constant, or does it come and go?

I inspected the connection at the antenna base, and it seems secure. The error is constant; GPS reception is unavailable regardless of location or weather. Could a faulty GPS module cause this, or is a defective antenna more likely?

Nah, if the connection is solid and the error is constant, it's almost certainly the antenna itself. Had a similar problem with a friend's RX. It's a bit of a pain, but a new antenna should sort it. Might be worth getting a quote from a workshop.
