Thanks for sharing. Did replacing the pressure switch offer any temporary improvement, or was it entirely ineffective? The undervoltage suggestion came from online research, indicating a potential link between low voltage and A/C compressor malfunction in hybrid vehicles.

Replacing the pressure switch didn't do anything at all, no temporary fix either. That's why I would skip it and check the compressor relay first. I eventually had to take mine to the workshop and they found a bad sensor. Honestly, given what you're saying, I'd take it to a shop with experience on Lexus hybrids. It could be so many things.

I appreciate the detailed insights and the caution regarding specialized expertise. I will prioritize a comprehensive inspection at a reputable workshop experienced with Lexus hybrid systems. It turned out to be a faulty pressure sensor, as you suggested. The repair cost 240€ including diagnostics and replacement. Thanks again!

I had something similar on my LC. The A/C would just randomly cut out, and then sometimes it wouldn't even come on at all when I started the car. No cool air whatsoever. The shop initially thought it was a faulty pressure switch, but that didn't fix it. Did you check the A/C compressor relay? Where did you read about the undervoltage?
