Lexus LC Check Engine Light Air Valve

My 2019 Lexus LC with the gasoline engine is throwing a check engine light. I've got 101208 km on the clock and suspect an air valve issue. I've checked the throttle body, air supply, and air intake, but could a defective hose connection from the pump to the valve cause this?

I had a similar thing happen on my LC. Check all your vacuum hoses carefully, especially around the air intake. I chased a similar issue for weeks, and it turned out to be a hairline crack in one of those hoses. Which air valve do you suspect?

Which vacuum hoses around the air intake gave you problems? How did you diagnose the hairline crack? I've visually inspected everything. Was your check engine light constant, or intermittent like mine? I’m starting to suspect my pump is giving out.

Mine was more towards the back of the intake, almost under the throttle body. The crack was tiny; I only found it when I wiggled the hose and heard a slight hissing sound. A smoke test would be the best way to find the leak. My check engine light was constant, so our issues might be different. If you can’t find any leaks, you should have it checked out at a workshop.

It was indeed a defective hose connection from the pump to the valve, as I initially suspected. Cost me 175€ to get fixed. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
