Lexus LC Driver Seat Heating Failure
Summary of the thread
The driver seat heating in a 2019 Lexus LC is not functioning, with an error code indicating an issue in the seat heating system. A similar problem was resolved by checking the thermal sensor and connections, but ultimately required professional repair due to a defective heating mat. The suggested solution is to have the heating mat replaced by a workshop to ensure proper repair.

I haven't checked the thermal sensor yet, but that's a good suggestion. Was the error code you received also related to the seat heating system? Could you elaborate on what you had to do to fix it?

Yeah, the error code pointed directly to the seat heating circuit. After checking the fuses and the connection under the seat, I didn't want to mess with potentially damaging the seat cushion or airbag system. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They told me the heating mat in the seat was defective and needed replacement. It was the easiest solution for me, but not the cheapest.

I appreciate the advice! It sounds like the seat heating mat is the most likely culprit in my case as well. I will take your advice and bring the car to a workshop for professional repair.

Hey there! I've got the same car, a Lexus LC, and had a similar problem a while back. My seat heater just stopped working. Did you check the thermal sensor under the seat cushion? That was my initial thought.
