Thanks for the quick response! No recent bumps or anything like that. Where is the sensor located on the Lexus LC? And when you say misaligned, is that something I can check myself, or does it require special equipment?

On the Volvo, the radar sensor was behind the front bumper, near the lower grille. It's likely in a similar location on your Lexus. As for alignment, it's best to avoid fiddling with it yourself. Radar calibration typically requires specialized tools and software to ensure it's working correctly. Given the symptoms, I'd advise a visit to a qualified workshop; a simple cleaning might solve the issue, but they can properly diagnose and calibrate the sensor if needed.

Thanks a lot for your help! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on. The radar sensor was indeed dirty. They cleaned it, and now everything is working perfectly again. The repair cost me 45€, which is a lot better than replacing the sensor! Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

Hi there, I had a similar experience with my 2019 Volvo XC60. The radar sensor, part of the advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) like adaptive cruise control and collision avoidance, can be quite sensitive. When it gets dirty or misaligned, it can trigger a whole host of error messages. Was there any recent event that could have affected the sensor, such as a minor bump or extreme weather?
