Thanks for the reply. I do not have an OBD2 scanner. Also, I don't remember seeing the check engine light, but I will pay closer attention next time. Where exactly should I be looking for connection issues? I'm not too familiar with car electronics.

Understood. Given your limited experience with vehicle electronics, I strongly advise against extensive DIY troubleshooting, as you might cause additional problems. While checking the battery cable connections for corrosion or looseness is safe, deeper engine diagnostics are best left to professionals. I recommend consulting a qualified technician for a thorough diagnosis.

Thank you. I checked the battery cables; one was indeed loose and corroded, I tightened it and cleaned the corrosion, and now the car starts fine. The local repair shop charged 155€ for the cleaning. I appreciate the advice!

Greetings. The fact that your Lexus LC's engine won't start despite the lights working indeed suggests it's not a completely dead battery, but rather a connection issue or a problem with the engine control unit. Has the check engine light illuminated recently? Do you have access to an OBD2 scanner to read any potential error codes?
