Lexus LFA Fog Sensor Issue

I'm having trouble with my 2011 Lexus LFA, gasoline engine, at 185279 km. I'm getting a fog sensor error, and the AC won't turn on, the spray nozzles are frozen, and the mirror heating isn't working. Could it be a bad cable or plug?

Interesting. I had similar climate control issues with my Lexus IS last winter – windshield constantly fogging up. The spray nozzles freezing is familiar. Did you check the sensor connections yourself? It could save money, but those Lexus sensors can be tricky.

Thanks. I looked at the connections but didn't see anything obvious like loose wires or corrosion. I don't have the right tools to test the signal properly. Did your IS have the same mirror heating issue too?

Yes, the mirror heating was out too, which I didn't connect at first. It all pointed to the fog sensor. I tried a few things, but I took it to a shop. They diagnosed the sensor and fixed it quickly. Probably best to let professionals handle it.

Thanks. I'll get it professionally diagnosed based on your experience. The estimated repair is around 95€.
