Thanks. I looked at the connections but didn't see anything obvious like loose wires or corrosion. I don't have the right tools to test the signal properly. Did your IS have the same mirror heating issue too?

Yes, the mirror heating was out too, which I didn't connect at first. It all pointed to the fog sensor. I tried a few things, but I took it to a shop. They diagnosed the sensor and fixed it quickly. Probably best to let professionals handle it.

Interesting. I had similar climate control issues with my Lexus IS last winter – windshield constantly fogging up. The spray nozzles freezing is familiar. Did you check the sensor connections yourself? It could save money, but those Lexus sensors can be tricky.
