Lexus LFA Power Window Failure

Guys, I'm kinda freaking out. My 2011 Lexus LFA (gasoline engine) is throwing a fit. Just replaced the battery, and now the power windows are completely dead! Error's popping up in the memory, something about the window regulator not initializing. Anyone seen this before? I'm at 248996 km...

I had a similar issue with my LFA after disconnecting the battery. The window controls went haywire. Did you try any kind of reset procedure after the battery swap? Sometimes the car's electronics need to relearn the window positions.

Reset procedure? Nope, didn't even know that was a thing! What kind of reset are we talking? I've checked the fuses and they seem fine. Is there some kind of magic button combo to press?

Unfortunately, there's no simple button combination that I know of. My LFA exhibited the identical behavior, and after some research, I learned that the window regulator initialization can be a bit tricky after a power interruption. The best course of action would be visiting a workshop. They have the diagnostic tools to properly reinitialize the system.

Okay, thanks for the heads-up. I took it to a workshop, and they reinitialized the window regulators. Cost me 290€, but at least the windows work again! What a pain!
