Lexus LS Camshaft Sensor Issue

My 2008 Lexus LS hybrid is acting up. Only 58325 km, but it's hard to start, and power is way down. The error code points to a bad camshaft sensor. Could be a loose cable or plug. Anyone else seen this with their LS?

I had something similar with my LS, but different symptoms. Any rough idling or stalling? My check engine light was on and off before staying on. Is the crankshaft position sensor okay? Gotta check the basics first.

It was gradual, like a dimmer switch going bad. Given the code and what you're seeing, get it checked by a pro. I needed a new camshaft sensor, and that fixed it.
