Lexus LS EVAP System Failure

My 2017 Lexus LS with a gasoline engine has a check engine light and stalls when idling. Codes point to an EVAP system failure. I've checked the gas cap and cleaned the purge valve, but no luck. I suspect a defective activated charcoal filter. Anyone else experience this?

I had a similar issue with my LS. Check engine light, rough idling... Sound familiar? Has your fuel efficiency also gone down?

Fuel efficiency is definitely worse. How did you fix yours, and how much did it cost? Was it also the charcoal canister?

I never got to the bottom of it myself. After research, I took it to a workshop. They sorted it quickly, and it wasn't too expensive.

Thanks! I took it to my local mechanic, and it was the activated charcoal filter. Replaced it, and the light's gone, idles perfectly, and fuel economy is back. Cost me 275€.
