Lexus LS Fuel Delivery Issue

I'm having trouble with my 2002 Lexus LS gasoline engine. It barely starts, idles terribly, the check engine light is on, it runs rough, and my fuel consumption is way up. The computer shows a fuel system error. I checked the fuel pump cable and plug, but no luck. Any ideas?

I drive a LS too. I had similar problems and it was indeed related to the fuel system.

Could you give me more details? What parts were involved, and what did you do to fix it?

I don't know the details anymore. I would recommend taking it to a workshop.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I took your advice and the workshop found a defective cable to the fuel pump. Repair cost me 95€, and the car is now running smoothly again.
