Okay, so the connections I'm referring to are related to the fuel injectors themselves. Honestly, unless you're comfortable with intricate engine work, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. A faulty injection system can cause major problems down the line.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I took it to a shop and it turned out to be a defective cable connection as you suspected. Cost me 95€ to fix.

I had a similar issue with my LS. Sounds like it could be a dodgy cable or plug connection in the injection system. Have you checked for any obvious signs of wear or damage to the wiring?
