Lexus LX Diesel Idling Problem

Alright, LX gurus, I'm pulling my hair out here! My 2018 Lexus LX with the diesel engine is throwing a hissy fit. I'm getting an error in the error memory, and the engine's idling like it's trying to do the cha-cha. My gut says engine mount - could be a defective engine mount, maybe the cable or plug connection is dodgy? Anyone else seen this gremlin, especially related to the mounting bracket or rubber mount? Mileage is sitting at 195280 km. Hoping it's not mount wear and tear...

LX owner here, had similar uneven idling, plus an error code. Check your engine mounts, especially if you've been off-roading much.

Off-roading a bit, yeah. Was yours definitely the engine mount? And if so, any idea what the damage was to your wallet?

Yep, engine mount was the culprit. I'd suggest getting it checked out by a workshop, but I wouldn't drive too much in that condition if I were you.

Spot on! Took it to my local guy, and you nailed it – defective engine mount. Connector issue as well. Total cost was 95€.
