Lexus LX ignition positive interrupted

Having trouble with my 2015 Lexus LX gasoline. At 158200 km, the error memory shows 'Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted' and the engine won't start. I've checked the battery terminals. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection, but where should I start looking? Has anyone else had this?

I had a similar issue with my LX. Check the ignition switch; a faulty connection there can cause this. Have you checked the circuit breakers and fuses related to the power supply? It might be a simple fix.

Could you be more specific about which circuit breakers and fuses I should check? I don't want to start pulling things out randomly and cause more damage. Any guidance?

I can't recall the exact fuse number. However, based on the error and symptoms, I'd recommend having a workshop check the cable or plug connections, as that's likely the cause. It cost me 95€ to get it fixed.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I took your advice and brought the car to my mechanic. You were spot on – it was a faulty connection in the ignition switch wiring. They replaced the connector, and it's running smoothly again. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
